IT Business Unit Lead Analyst

DUTIES: Proactively provide robust, clear, and accurate data and meaningful insights for Technology and Business Partners, which will help them take key decisions regarding their ongoing and forecasted technology expenses, as well as influence their roadmap for upcoming years. Interrogate and export data from multiple systems related to technology planning, financials, and expenditures. Create, maintain, and improve dashboards and measurement reports through common views, liaising with stakeholders to influence decisions based on the insights provided. Interpret and expand upon data reporting requirements for Technology and Business Partners, which will help them take key strategic decisions regarding their proposed technology investments. Support testing of systems used for technology planning financials and project financials through budgeting and financial outlook updates. Track and validate data through end-to-end testing from data input through to reporting and consolidation. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, as a Technical Lead, Computer Programmer, IT Software Developer, or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Handling data analysis and reporting tools including Tableau and Cognos to create dashboards and reports for technology and business partners; Building dashboards and reports using Tableau and EDW to compare budgeted expense against actual expense and perform trend analysis for outer months; Supporting testing of systems used for technology planning financials and project financials through budgeting and financial outlook updates; Creating and managing financial reporting using Enterprise data warehouse and IBM Cognos; Supporting the Investment and Global Demand Management Process and Governance for broad stakeholder groups; Utilizing features of excel to support data analysis and reporting including complex reporting and forecasting of expenses; and Ensuring data within systems of record are accurate, consistent, and traceable for use in standard reporting across systems containing investment and project data. 40 hrs./wk.
