We are seeking a skilled and strategic Global PR and Communications Manager to lead our public relations and communication efforts worldwide. This role involves managing the public image of Agworld and Semios, developing global PR strategies, handling CEO communications, and ensuring that our messaging resonates with our vision and values across different markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership in the agricultural technology sector.
  • Craft and disseminate compelling press releases, articles, and public statements, including communications from the CEO.
  • Manage and coordinate CEO communications, including speech writing, public appearances, and media interactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international media, influencers, and industry partners.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and strategies.
  • Organize and oversee PR events, press conferences, and interviews on a global scale.
  • Direct crisis communication efforts, providing strategic advice and swift responses to maintain positive brand perception.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, communication, and leadership teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations or communications, with a proven track record in a global role
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience in executive-level communication and speechwriting
  • Established network of international media contacts and a deep understanding of the global media landscape
  • Knowledge of the agricultural technology sector and a passion for sustainability and innovation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Salary range: $110,000 to $130,000 CAD per year
